Hi! I’m Dean. I’m currently a second-year Computer Science student - I’ve made tons of personal projects (you’re looking at one), but I’m looking to get a proper foot down in the field. I have worked with Code for Fun, a nonprofit organization that provides CS education to the younger generation, as the lead of instructors in the East Bay. It’s allowed me to make a tangible difference in my community with an issue I experienced myself growing up - the black hole that is CS education in schools.

During the school year, I work with DataAnnotation to review and improve on the programming capacity of LLMs (hopefully without letting them take my future job).

Here’s my favorite project so far! It’s a little niche - I modified a well-known tool called the Universal Pokemon Randomizer. My changes allow real Pokemon games to be modified in a novel way that gives an extremely difficult challenge: UPR-Comp
